First of all, I want to clarify what “white” generally means.  The term was and still is originally “white-washed,” but I have been called “white” as a shorthand of the term.  This name is commonly used as a derogatory term to describe a non-white person who has assimilated to western culture.  The world is spherical, so I find the cardinal directions - north, east, south, west - ironic.  I bring this topic to subject because in the definition of white, it specifically states “western” culture.  Who’s to say that Asia is not west of Europe?  If you keep going west from Europe, you’re bound to land on Asia eventually, so Asia can be the west of Europe.

Look at me, going all off topic and bullshitting my essay. And yes, I know western culture means European culture. Don’t judge me. Hell, if I keep at it, I can say that Europe is the west of Europe (but I’m actually going to delete the last couple of sentences from that paragraph because this is plain stupidity).
